Foot washes up in Sweden - Foppa to announce retirement

Courtesy of The Province:

"The Local, Sweden's news in English, is reporting that a man's foot has washed up on the seashore in southern Sweden.

The foot was discovered Tuesday by lifeguards in the water in Tylösand in Halmstad, south-western Sweden, and local authorities are saying it's too early to link the discovery to the five feet that have washed up along the Georgia Strait.

"They had seen the shoe yesterday, sploshing around at the water's edge," said Joakim Sjölander, spokesman for police in Halland county.

The foot has been sent to a laboratory near Lund for forensic tests. DNA from the foot is to be compared to DNA from people who have gone missing in the area."

My first reaction was that Peter Forsberg finally snapped at his foot and figured "Hey, It can't get any worse now can it? I've heard that research in the fields of Cyborgs have come a long way".

Either that or one of them neverending mysteries of the universe has been solved. The skating of Tomas Holmström & Ray Sheppard. Those two guys really must be the worst skaters in the history of hockey. But I'm a fan of both, so here's to you for having great careers!

I know I promised you a post about the free agenzy frenzy. It's coming. I'm going through one division at a time. It's a bit more difficult than I thought. And I don't want to burn out once again [Drama Queen Bergman] like I did the last time I blogged fulltime. I'm easing myself back to business.

I've been looking through a lot of old posts lately, trying to get my shit back together. I found these that I totally forgot about. Let it burn your eyes. :)

And finally, my take on a third jersey for the Carolina Hurricanes. I got a lot of love for that one.

From Stockholm Sweden, I'm Peter Forsbergs left foot.
